“VESPA TOUR” TEAM CHALLENGE
ENJOY ITALY ON TWO WHEELS!
On our team event “Vespa Tour”, the teams will explore a destination of your choice on the typical Italian Vespas! Enjoy the feeling of freedom while you ride on wavy streets along the coastline or in the hinterland and magnificent views of the beautiful Mediterranean landscapes.
Drive the Best Roads
Highways, motorways and mountain passes throughout Germany, Austria and Italy, including the picturesque Dolomites and extraordinary panoramic coastal roads.
Miticulous planning
Spectacular mountains, amazing landscapes, charming seaside villages, beautiful historic towns and gorgeous coasts! Experience the Italian flair!
Unique experiences
The highlights of this self-driving tour are authentic, outstanding experiences beyond anything the participants could access independently.
Enjoy your a fun-packed Vespa Tour in your favourite region
Discover the hotspots of the region and pass charming villages or famous cities. After a short briefing with details about the Vespas and security, the organization of the treasure hunt and a short test drive the Vespa Tour starts. Fun, teamwork and a sense of orientation are the focus of this team event!
For the treasure hunt the group will be divided in teams of approx. 3-4 Vespas (6-8 persons). The teams will follow the hints in their road books and discover the beauty of the spots they reach. They will have to master tricky tasks, which will lead them, together with GPS-devices and their power of deduction, to the goal of this challenge!
After this team event, you will have a lunch break at an Enoteca or an Italian restaurant. We recommend to combine the Vespa-Tours with a GPS Tour or a Wine & Product Tasting! Upon request, we will be happy to organise this “Vespa Tour” as a panoramic tour without any competitive elements.

This unique Apulian art has its origin in the 18th century, when the nuns commissioned the reconstruction of the church “Chiesa di Santa Chiara” in Naples. Near completion, their money was running out, but they still had to reconstruct the ceiling decoration. So, they asked the artisans to manufacture it with papier-maché instead of wood and the Cartapesta art was born!
Today, the Cartapesta artists manufacture sculptures like the Blessed Virgin Mary, angels and jewellery, picture frames and vases. In Lecce, the capital of the province Lecce, you find 13 artist’s studios where the papier-maché art is handcrafted. The artwork consists of a wire rack which is layered with up to nine layers of papier-maché. It is made from water, flour and a dash of sulphate to protect it against mealworms. After drying, the sculpture is polished with a hot iron and the face and body shape are carved out.
Afterwards, it is painted in a unique way, which made the Cartapesta artists from Lecce popular. With a special firing technique, they obtain realistic effects and it cannot be destroyed by water. To laymen it is not obvious that it is not made of wood, it is only recognizable by the weight of the sculptures. The entire development of the Cartapesta art can be seen in the “Museo di Cartapesta” in the Castello di Carlo V in Lecce, which was opened in 2009.
