Rome Leadership Retreats

Bring your leadership team to Rome, and make the experience worth the journey

For executive assistants, chiefs of staff and the people behind the company's most important gatherings.

A leadership retreat is more than getting everyone into the same city. It is an opportunity to step away from the everyday, think differently, have the conversations that are difficult to have between meetings, and give your leadership team space to reconnect around what comes next.

And if you are the person responsible for making it happen, we know what that responsibility feels like. You are coordinating important people, a significant investment and a lot of expectations. You need someone who understands all of that and knows how to bring it together.

For more than 20 years, our focus has been creating and coordinating corporate events and group experiences in Italy. We bring that expertise to your retreat, helping you shape the right program, make the right decisions and create an experience that feels considered from beginning to end.

One way it could work

What could your days in Rome look like?

Rome gives a leadership team something an ordinary meeting environment cannot. A change of surroundings. A city that invites conversation. Beautiful places to gather. Exceptional food. And experiences that give people something to share beyond the meeting room.

Here is simply one way the days could take shape.

Nothing is fixed. We shape the program around your people, objectives and preferences.
DayMorningAfternoonEvening
Day one, arrive and settle in Arrivals, private transfers and a smooth welcome into Rome. Time to settle in without feeling rushed. Your first leadership session in a dedicated meeting environment, followed by time to transition out of work mode. A memorable Roman experience followed by dinner together, an easy first evening to reconnect as a group.
Day two, connect and think Focused leadership work, with everything around the session already taken care of. Continue the working sessions or step outside the meeting room for an experience that gives the team a different perspective. Explore Rome together as the day cools down, followed by a dinner designed around the group.
Day three, align and close Bring the important conversations together. Reflect, align and turn the retreat into clear next steps. A relaxed departure, or free time for those extending their stay. Return home with a few days in Rome that gave the team more than another series of meetings.

Where the difference lies

You know your people. We know how to make them experience the best of Italy.

You know your executives, your company culture and what you want the retreat to accomplish.

We know how to translate that into an experience that allows your team to enjoy Italy at its best, from the setting and pace of the program to the places they visit, the food they share and the moments they experience together.

And we know how to bring the two together. That combination is where the difference lies.

We look at your retreat as one complete experience, not as a hotel booking, a restaurant reservation and a transfer arranged separately. We consider how everything fits together.

We can help bring together

  • The right setting

Accommodation and meeting environments that match the level and purpose of your retreat.

  • The right experiences

Moments that give your team the opportunity to connect, discover and enjoy Italy together.

  • The right rhythm

A program that gives your executives time to focus, but also time to breathe.

  • The right logistics

Transfers, dining, activities and the details between them, thoughtfully coordinated.

  • The right local expertise

People on the ground who know how things work in Italy and can respond when something changes.

And throughout the process, you have a partner who understands that this is your responsibility, and treats it that way.

Start here

Let us figure out the right approach together

Every retreat starts with a conversation.

Tell us what you are planning, who it is for, when you are considering traveling, your budget range and what you want the experience to achieve.

From there, we help you shape the possibilities and determine the right direction for your group.

A straightforward process, with an experienced team behind it

How it works

  1. 1

    Send us your inquiry

Share your initial details with us, or book a discovery call. We will talk through your group, objectives, preferences, timing and budget so we understand what matters most to you.

  2. 2

    We assess what can work

Once we understand your requirements, our team develops a non-binding feasibility assessment based on what is realistically possible for your group and preferred timeframe.

  3. 3

    We present the direction

We come back to you with the proposed program, experience level, estimated investment and suitable options, giving you a clear picture of what your retreat could look like. At this stage we focus on the right experience and overall direction rather than specific property names, so that the program, expectations and investment are aligned before moving into detailed arrangements. We will also discuss any adjustments or alternatives that could make the experience even stronger. If the direction feels right, you can take the next step with us.

  4. 4

    Confirm the next step

Once you decide to move forward, you can take a little time to review and confirm. An initial planning payment then allows us to move into the detailed planning stage and is credited toward your final program.

  5. 5

    We develop the concrete details

With the planning stage underway, we work through the specific properties, activities, dining, logistics and any additional requests with you. This is where the program becomes concrete, with the details presented for your review and final decisions.

  6. 6

    We make it happen

Once everything is confirmed, we coordinate the details and remain your point of contact throughout the experience.

Beyond the booking

What makes Italiaplus different?

We do not just know where to send you. We know how to make the whole experience work.

There are many companies that can book a hotel in Rome. That is not the difficult part. The difference is understanding what happens between the booking and the experience your executives actually have.

It is knowing which setting suits the group. Understanding how much time people really need between sessions. Knowing when an experience will bring people together, and when it will simply make the program feel busy. Understanding how to balance executive expectations with the available budget. Knowing the local partners you can trust. And being there when plans inevitably need to change.

Our expertise is not simply in Italy. It is in understanding your purpose and translating it into an experience that makes sense, so you do not have to become a travel expert to organize one. You have enough to manage already.

People, not a platform

From the first conversation to the last goodbye

When you work with Italiaplus, you are not handing your retreat to a booking platform. You have people behind it.

People who listen to what you are trying to achieve. People who know the destination. People who communicate with the local partners. People who think about the details before they become problems.

And people who understand that when everything goes well, you should be able to be present with your leadership team rather than managing the program from the sidelines. That is the experience we want for you, too.

A note from Christine

What the best retreats have in common

Organizing an executive retreat carries a particular kind of responsibility. You are often coordinating the expectations of people who have very little time and very high expectations.

The best retreats are not necessarily the ones with the longest itineraries or the most impressive list of activities. They are the ones where everything feels considered. The right place. The right pace. The right conversations. The right moments outside the meeting room. And someone behind the scenes who knows what needs to happen next.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we need exact dates?

No. A preferred month or date range is enough to begin.

What information should we provide?

Your approximate group size, preferred timing, budget range and what you want the retreat to accomplish are a great place to start.

What happens after we enquire?

We arrange a discovery call to understand your requirements properly. From there, our team assesses what can realistically work and prepares the next direction for you.

Is the feasibility assessment binding?

No. It gives you an initial direction based on your requirements and allows you to understand what is possible before moving into detailed planning.

How long does the feasibility assessment take?

Depending on the complexity of the request, we aim to provide it within two to seven working days.

What happens when we decide to proceed?

An initial planning payment moves the project into detailed planning and is credited toward your final program. We then work through the concrete details and any additional requests with you.

Can we make changes along the way?

Of course. The detailed planning stage is where we refine the program around your final requirements and preferences.

What if we are not sure Rome is the right destination?

Tell us what you are trying to achieve. If another destination or format would serve your group better, our role is to tell you, and to help you explore the alternative.

Can you work with our existing agenda?

Absolutely. If you already have your leadership program or meeting agenda, we can build the travel, accommodation, dining, experiences and logistics around it.

What happens if the number of participants changes?

We can review the program and pricing as your numbers become clearer and advise you on the impact of any changes.
