The beautiful Mediterranean island has its largest airport in Palermo-Punta Raisi (PMO), about 35km west of the island capital. It serves many European cities and destinations directly.

Other Italian airports

Other major Italian international airports are located in Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP and LIN) and on the southern coast of Naples (NAP). Umbria and Marche are best reached via Perugia (PEG) and Ancona (AOI) airports.
